Step- Free easy going tour from Shimizu Port / Sedan Taxi

This tour take you 3 popular spots around Shimizu. Nihondaira Plateau (Green tea field and Mt.Fuji view at Nihondaira Ocha Kaikan, Nihondaira Yume Terrace Observatory, → Ryugeji-Temple, a beautiful small temple with its famous Cycas revoluta → Miho Beach (Miho Pine Tree Grove= a part of Mt.Fuji World Heritage, Miho no Matsugara Culture & Creativity Center) You can enjoy spectacular view of Shimizu, and familiar temple which is not touristic. We made this tour for guests who are not good at walking stairs, not good at taking ropeway to visit Kunozan Toshogu Shrine. Note: Though the capacity of a sedan taxi is 3 guests + a guide, we recommend this tour for up to 2 guests + a guide. It is small for 3 big people to sit in the rear seat. In this case, we recommend to choose our van taxi tour. If you have a wheelchair or a stroller, please let us know with its size. Due to the limited number of guides, we accept a maximum of 10 group bookings per day (one booking per group).

Itinerary

1. Car transportation from Shimizu Port to Nihondaira (20 min) Admission included
2. New observatory which opened In November 2018. You can enjoy spectacular view of Mt.Fuji, Shimizu Port, Izu Peninsula, Southern Alps (20 min)
3. This is a Japanese tea shop and they have also green tea field. If the weathercondition is fine, you can take photos of Mt.Fuji over this green tea field. (20 min)
4. Car transportation from Nihondaira to Ryugeji Temple (20 min)
5. A temple with a spectacular view of Mount Fuji and featuring a national natural treasure tree ! he temple was established in early Edo period, in 1670, by the priest Nichigon who was closely related to Ieyasu Tokugawa. This temple is of Nichiren Buddhism branch. It is located on the foot of Mount Udo, in Shimizu district of Shizuoka city. Famous for the amazing view of Mount Fuji, here rests an intellectual of the Meiji period : Chogyu TAKAYAMA. *Note: You need to take off your shoes when you enter the main hall. (50 min)
6. Transportation from Ryuge-ji Temple to Miho no Matsubara (20 min)
7. Car transportation from Miho Beach to Shimizu Port (20 min) Admission included
8. New opened center in March 2019. You can learn history of Miho, Hagoromo legend, also can enjoy short movie about Miho no Matsubara. Even if the weather is not good and you can not view Mt.Fuji from Miho beach, you can enjoy here. (20 min)
9. A part of Mt.Fuji World Heritage. The view of Mt.Fuji from there is very special! Green pine Tree grove, black sand beach, white wave, blue sky... This is a wonderful view that represents Japan. (40 min)
