Itinerary

  1. Yehlu Geopark is one of the premier destinations in northern Taiwan, is home to a number of unique geological formations including the iconic "Queen's Head" and is located along a cape stretching out from the town of Wanli. Duration: ~1.5 hours Start your tour at Yehliu Geopark, known for its unique rock formations created by sea erosion. The most famous rock is the Queen’s Head, which resembles the profile of a queen. Other notable formations include the Fairy Shoe and Elephant Rock. Things to Do: Explore the coastal views, take photos of the rock formations, and walk along the trails in the park. (1h 30min)
  2. Zhenbin Port Color Houses Duration: ~30 minutes Next, visit Zhenbin Port, a small fishing village famous for its Colorful Houses. These brightly painted buildings along the harbor make for great photo opportunities with a seaside backdrop. The colors represent the lively spirit of the town and bring vibrancy to the old fishing port . Things to Do: Walk along the waterfront, take pictures of the colorful houses, and enjoy the local harbor atmosphere. (30 min)
  3. Chaojing Park was a place which collected garbage. However, it was rebuilt by the National Museum Of Marine Science and Technology, which became a spot to appreciate the view of sea. The only entrance to Chaojing Park is called "Ping-Lang Bridge". Passing through the bridge, the left side is Changtan Fishing Village; the right side offers is marine abrasion views. In the spring and summer time, there is a variation of natural ecology. At Chaojing Park, there is a bikeway, as well as sculptures , scenery viewing chairs, and a fountain. It is a place where visitors can engage in a variety of activities. In addition, at dusk, you can also see the sunset, and the lights of Jiufen from here. Chaojing Park coast is a new spot of Keelung; it's very popular on holidays. (1h 0min)
  4. Shifen waterfall is a busy waterfall in New Taipei City, Pingxi district. It's probably the most visited waterfall in Taiwan. It has a wide deep pool, and plenty of places to jump from, but swimming is not allowed at Shifen Waterfall. (40 min)
  5. Located in the Pingxi area, Shifen Old Streets is a collection of lanes and alleys in and around the Shifen railway station area. Originally built for transporting coal during the Japanese era, the station and track runs straight through the village. (1h 30min)
  6. Fell spirited away in this decommissioned gold mining mountain town, originally built by the Japanese and now a maze of lanes and alleyways with rich history and culture. (1h 30min)
