Itinerary

1. The tour will start either from your cruise, ferry or hotel in Tangier, with your private tour guide besides your professional driver and private minivan, you’ll have a nice sightseeing tour through the modern part of Tangier, the city centre and the beautiful Atlantic side of the city. Stop at park Rmilat, also known as Perdicaris park, a former residence of American diplomat and businessman Ion Perdicaris. Spend a few minutes in this green area located only 10 minutes drive from the city centre. (10 min)
2. Stop at cap Spartel lighthouse, Africa’s most northern point and where the Atlantic meets the Mediterranean (15 min)
3. Visit Tangier’s most famous landscape, connected with stories, heroes and Hercules (15 min)
4. Located in the street off the rue des synagogues, a 19th century built by Moïse Nahon, educator and scholar from an influential Jewish family in Tangier (15 min)
5. We will include Rabbi Akiba synagogue, a beautiful small synagogue named after the ancient Jewish sage, Rabbi Akiva Ben Joseph (15 min)
6. We’ll also visit Beit Yehuda, also known as Assayag Synagogue, completed in 1890 to be an essential congregation for the local Jewish community of Tangier (15 min)
