Itinerary

1. You observe the vast interior plain of the island, known as Achada, with the farming fields that look like a colorful blanket. Wide view of the Bay of Praia da Vitória, the port and the airport.One of the best places in Terceira for photography. (15 min)
2. Climbing to the Pico das Cruzinhas Miradouro One of the highest points of Monte Brasil. Panoramic view over Angra do Heroísmo, the bay and the south coast of Terceira. (30 min)
3. Built around 1455, by the first settlers of the island. Late Gothic style with Manueline elements, visible on the portals, arches and nerved vaults (15 min)
4. A more sheltered pool, perfect for children. Another area open to the sea, great for swimming and diving. Clear and deep waters, great for those who really like swimming (20 min)
5. Deep natural pools, ideal for experienced swimmers. Very clear waters, excellent for snorkeling. Unique volcanic formations created by ancient eruptions. Safe environment in summer (35 min)
6. Angra do Heroísmo is the historic capital of Terceira Island and UNESCO World Heritage Site, known for its bay, colorful architecture, gardens and unique monuments (30 min)
7. Praia da Vitória is the second largest city on Terceira Island and one of the best locations on the island for beaches, viewpoints and seaside walks. Top-rated attractions include the Miradouro do Facho, the Serra do Cume, Praia Grande and the Nature Reservation Paul da Praia da Vitória, all open or accessible. (30 min)
