The set of the Pirates of the Caribbean (Walliabou)- This site is the actual set for the Pirate town, Port Royal, of the infamous movie, “Pirates of the Caribbean”. Watching or hearing about the movie is one thing, experiencing it is another! There is an abundance of props and costumes remaining onsite so one can dress up and look like a real life pirate. There are lots of photos and shooting schedule from the movie that was done in 2002 (part#1) and 2005 (part #2 & #3). If you haven’t already seen the movie, that is definitely going to change after this visit. Facilities include parking, restaurant, bar and washroom.   1. Fort Charlotte is a British-colonial era fort, built on a hill over-looking the harbour of Kingstown, Saint Vincent. It is located in the parish of Saint Andrew, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. at the top of Edinboro road, on Berkshire Hill, just west of the town. Standing at 600 feet above the sea level, it is the major early 19th century fortification in Saint Vincent. The fort enjoys a panoramic view of the Leeward side of the island, including Kingstown, Young Island, the Caribbean, Bequia and the Grenadines. Fans of the movie can retrace the steps of Captain Jack Sparrow at a number of interesting and beautiful location : Walliabou Heritage Park, Leeward Hwy, St Vincent and the Grenadines Wallilabou Heritage Park is a lovely, peaceful place with picnic spot, restaurant, pool and small waterfall. It sits on the Wallilabou River on the Leeward coast of St. Vincent, near Wallilabou Bay and the site of the film Pirates of the Caribbean. Large Samaan trees cover the pool and its adjacent areas, creating a relatively cool micro-climate for the core area of the park. These and other plants create a habitat for several species of birds. Large boulders reflect the lands geological history and create landscape interest. The park was at one time a plantation; a thick stone wall built across the river is a legacy of the plantation - each of the two streams flowing from the waterfall passes through a hole in the stone wall.
