The Via Ferrata El Chorro – Caminito del Rey is located in the Natural Site of the Gaitanes Gorge, in Alora, Malaga. No previous experience is needed, only good physical condition and desire to live a unique experience.
Accompanied by specialized guides, you will enjoy a tour of about 4 hours with a K3 level, more demanding for its length than for its difficulty. The route includes a vertical ascent with iron steps, a 35-meter zip line, a 15-meter Tibetan bridge and a 30-meter mono bridge, with spectacular views of the Enchanted Reservoir and the surroundings of Caminito del Rey. The descent is made by a small trekking that allows to contemplate the famous stone bridge under the train tracks and the natural wealth of the environment. It is carried out in small groups to ensure security and personalized attention.

Itinerary
- Access the hotel reception so that you will be greeted by the guide who will accompany you during the tour of Via Ferrata El Chorro - El Caminito del Rey and meet the group. You will be provided with the documentation you must fill in to carry out the activity safely, in addition to the delivery of the necessary material: helmet, harness, double pulley for steel cables, gloves and kit of ferratas with dissipator. - We will enjoy the spectacular views of the Natural Site of the Gaitanes Gorge during the descent, in a small trekking back to the starting point. - We will pass under the famous Castrojo stone bridge, one of the most emblematic corners of El Chorro. From here you can admire the impressive rock walls and natural surroundings of the Gaitanes Gorge, as the Castrojo area is one of the most popular climbing areas in the area.
- Tour during the descent trek before the end of the activity.
- During the descent you can see in the distance the impressive suspension bridge of the Caminito del Rey.
- Once the hiking section is finished, we will finish our activity in the picnic area of Caminito del Rey. (5 min)
- From the King’s Little Path picnic area, we will continue to the point where we started our activity to return the material used during the activity.
