Itinerary
- Your itinerary will reflect your interests, time available and the weather. If there is something particular you have in mind, please let us know. We will stop for lunch along the way, location based around when hunger strikes. Heading north, we drive around the visually beautiful & historically significant Porirua Harbour. For people interested in visual arts, we can stop at the Pātaka Art Museum to check out their current community & cultural exhibitions. (1h 0min)
- Driving the Centennial Highway to the delightful seaside village of Paekākāriki, we check out the village & the beach. We can also visit QEII Park museum dedicated to the 15,000 US troops stationed there in WWII. (1h 0min)
- An option for the car lovers out there - we can visit the Southern Hemisphere's premier privately owned automotive collection at Paraparaumu, with over 400 cars for viewing. (1h 0min) Admission included
- Walk on the beach, enjoy close up views of Kapiti Island, check out the shops or lunch on fresh locally caught Fish and Chips. (1h 0min)
- Offering incredible views of the Kāpiti Coast, we will drive over the Paekākāriki Hill to the Hutt Valley. Along the way we will stop for photos, possibly meeting some eels at the historic Battle Hill Farm & visit the wetlands of Pāuatahanui. (30 min)
- Returning to the city, we will drive along the Harbour’s edge on land raised in the massive 1855 earthquake. If time permits, we will finish off with a drive through historic Thorndon village & a visit to the Botanic Gardens, before dropping you at your preferred location. (30 min)
