Itinerary

4. Pico Ruivo do Paul da Serra (panoramic drive-by) A scenic drive across a vast high plateau, often above the clouds, flanked by impressive mountains. Guests enjoy epic landscapes and the unique feeling of driving across Madeira’s “roof”.
5. A magical laurel forest with ancient trees, often wrapped in mist, creating an almost fairy-tale atmosphere. Great for a short walk and very atmospheric photos. (10 min)
6. A picturesque coastal village famous for its volcanic cliffs and the powerful north Atlantic swell. Guests can stroll along the seafront and admire the dramatic coastline. (10 min)
7. Natural lava pools filled with clear ocean water. Time to swim, relax in the sun, take fantastic photos and enjoy one of the island’s true highlights. (40 min)
8. Dramatic scenery with waterfalls tumbling down the mountains to the sea and a beautiful black volcanic sand beach. A perfect stop for photos, a seaside walk and, weather permitting, dipping your feet in the Atlantic. (20 min)
