Itinerary
- Begin your experience of exploring Patagonia as soon as your cruise ship docks in Puerto Madryn. Meet us and board a comfortable-modern vehicle. Enjoy a brief tour of the city to learn about its history while heading to the Penguin Colony.
- Our first stop is the replica of the Patagotitan Mayorum, the largest dinosaur in the world discovered to date. We will learn all about the past, when dinosaurs reigned over this region. We will take advantage of this stop to snap some photographs before hitting the road again, heading south. (15 min)
- Start the adventure accompanied by a tour guide who will help us interpret the environment. Keep an aye out, specially when driven along a barren gravel road, the reserve enclose unique species as Guanacos (Lamas), Patagonia Rabbit, Lesser Rhea, Grey Wolf, among others.
- Punta Tombo is one of the most scenic reserves in the province of Chubut, blending the deep blue sea with the red volcanic rocks of the Jurassic period. There, we will immerse ourselves in the world of Magellanic Penguins along a 3-kilometer trail (round trip) to observe them and walk among them. If nature allows and we remain attentive to the landscape, we may spot wonderful Patagonian species such as Guanacos, Lesser Rheas (Choiques), Maras, and Elegant Crested Tinamous (Martinetas), among others. After completing the trail, you will have free time to enjoy lunch at 'DeliStore' or have a picnic if you have brought your own lunch or snacks. As we travel along the gravel roads, the safari continues overland, you might be admired by guanacos crossing the Patagonian landscape. After a day full of nature in its purest form, return to Puerto Madryn and get dropped off outside the pier on time. (2h 0min) Admission included
